Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

 

1/4 cup orange juice

1/4 cup low-fat milk

1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt

1/4 cup pumpkin puree (NOT canned pie filling)

1/2 VERY ripe banana (peeled and sliced)

dash of ground cinnamon and / or nutmeg

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

2 ice cubes

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients in blender.
  2. Put the top on tightly.  Turn the blender to a medium setting and blend until the ice is chopped and he mixture is smooth (about 1 minute).
  3. Serve right away, or store covered in the refrigerator.
